GAIK toolkit components have been used to develop the following show cases for partner companies in the project. These cases show how the toolkit can be used for very different kind of purposes and industries.
Transcription and Translation Assistant
This assistant extracts audio from large educational video files and uses speech-recognition models to generate Finnish transcripts and time-coded SRT subtitle files. The transcript remains available for human review and correction, which is particularly important for specialised terminology, proper nouns, omissions, and errors that could affect meaning.

Semantic Video
Search
This solution indexes educational videos and subtitle tracks so that users can search the library using natural-language queries.
Search results point users to the relevant video and timestamp, enabling direct access to the section where a topic is discussed instead of requiring users to browse an entire recording manually.

Purchase Order Processing
Sales staff upload the customer’s purchase order and company’s own price list to the tool. The AI extracts the required products, their codes, parameters and volumes from the purchase order. The interface presents the extracted information and price calculations in a traceable form for review.

Construction Site Diary Assistant
Construction Site Diary Assistant supports knowledge capture by converting spoken field observations into editable construction documentation.
The user enters a project ID and uploads an audio file or records a voice note directly in the application.

Safety Observation Reporting Assistant
The Safety Observation Reporting Assistant allows employees to record or type a safety observation and converts the input into a report that can be reviewed, corrected and exported. It supports two reporting modes: a structured safety observation report created from audio or text, and a free-form observation generation from audio.

Building Inspection Reporting Assistant
Building Inspection Reporting Assistant processes building documents and field material, such as photographs, voice recordings and notes, and generates a structured draft building condition assessment report. Its workflow includes processing selected information, and generating all or selected sections to a report.
