On 12 June 2026, the GAIK project held the webinar “GAIK Toolkit: New Features and Capabilities” for companies, service providers, consultants and co-development partners interested in practical Generative AI applications.
The webinar presented the latest development of the GAIK Toolkit, including new capabilities, components and application cases. Instead of repeating earlier introductory sessions, the focus was on how the Toolkit has evolved and how it can now support concrete GenAI solutions in organisational settings.
Solutions already created with industrial partners
The application cases presented in the webinar were not theoretical examples. They were based on solutions already created together with GAIK industrial project partners. These cases show how the Toolkit can be adapted to real company needs and used as a starting point for similar solutions in other organisations.
The webinar covered solutions for:
- Incident reporting and knowledge capture
- Transcription, captioning and translation
- Building inspection report preparation and knowledge synthesis
- FAIR AI Help Desk and knowledge access
These examples demonstrate how Generative AI can help organisations capture, structure, translate, summarise and retrieve knowledge more efficiently.

How to use the GAIK Toolkit
The GAIK Toolkit also provides guidance on how to move from a business need to a practical GenAI solution.
Start with the Guidance Layer, which explains how to identify, design and implement GenAI solutions for knowledge-intensive processes:

You can also explore the Solution Configuration Wizard — an assistant that guides users from a business problem description to a runnable and validated GenAI proof of concept with supporting documentation.
